My new classic lightweight. It’s a Campagnolo Super Record equiped Santé Pogliaghi,
It has some quite rare Campagnolo Cobalto brakes – a luxury version of
Campagnolo’s traditional Record side-pull brake with a
decorative blue jewel in the brake arm locknut.
The former owner just build it up to hang it on his wall
in memoriam of his glorious pro cyclist career.

“Sante Pogliaghi was one of the acknowledged masters of post war Italian frame building.He was sought after by top Olympic and Professional athletes alike. While his track bikes, both solo and tandem are most famous, he also made superb road bikes. Sante passed away in the mid 1980s and the rights to manufacture frames under his name were sold to Marc Rossin then to the Basso brothers. Bikes from the 1970s and earlier, made by Sante himself, are highly prized by knowledgeable collectors.”
your Pogliaghi is absolutely beautiful. Wolud you consider selling it / if so for whar price ? I am fond of racing bikes and I am just discovering the grandeur of Italian vintage bikes.
