i’ve finally build up this pearl creme white ciöcc frame.. thought that the campagnolo chorus group here would be perfect. added a recently found nos 3ttt record 84 racing stem and a wheelset with c-record sherif hubs. tires are vittoria open corsa evo sc clinchers, definately the best tires i’ve ever tried

The Oste is a river in northern Lower Saxony with a length of 153 km, left tributary of the Elbe.

Amongst others, the Oste has two pram ferries; the ferry in Gräpel is actually manually operated.

Although recognized as an official waterway the Oste has not much ship traffic and roads along the river are carfree. a nice ride to be repeated..

My new classic lightweight. It’s a Campagnolo Super Record equiped Santé Pogliaghi,

It has some quite rare Campagnolo Cobalto brakes – a luxury version of

Campagnolo’s traditional Record side-pull brake with a

decorative blue jewel in the brake arm locknut.

The former owner just build it up to hang it on his wall

in memoriam of his glorious pro cyclist career.

Info on Pogliaghi from Classic Rendezvous:

“Sante Pogliaghi was one of the acknowledged masters of post war Italian frame building.He was sought after by top Olympic and Professional athletes alike. While his track bikes, both solo and tandem are most famous, he also made superb road bikes. Sante passed away in the mid 1980s and the rights to manufacture frames under his name were sold to Marc Rossin then to the Basso brothers. Bikes from the 1970s and earlier, made by Sante himself, are highly prized by knowledgeable collectors.”
